Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and experienced Category Lead to join our Global Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the global category strategy for Business Process Outsourcing and Technology Services, managing complex end-to-end sourcing projects, and transforming vendor relationships into high-value partnerships.
You will join a high-impact Global Procurement function reporting directly to the Head of Outsourced and Technology Services Procurement, serving as a trusted partner to global business leaders.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Category Strategy & Sourcing Execution: Execute the global Business Process Outsourcing and Information Technology Services category roadmap, managing Request for Proposals (RFx), negotiating Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs), and optimizing overall spend to deliver best-in-class commercial structures.
Stakeholder & Performance Collaboration: Collaborate with Global Business Services, Information Technology, Operations, and executive leadership to align procurement strategies with organizational goals while managing supplier performance through clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Iron Mountain’s rigorous organizational standards, policies, and data privacy regulations by partnering with Legal and Risk teams to mitigate global outsourcing risks.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
6-10 years of progressive experience in Procurement and Category Management within a global organization, including at least 3 to 4 years focused on Technology and Outsourcing services.
Strong knowledge of Technology Services pricing mechanics, complex contractual frameworks, market trends, spend analysis, and financial modeling.
Proven ability in strategic vendor management, complex contract negotiations, change leadership, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree or Master of Business Administration (MBA); Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) certification is highly preferred.
Skills Required
