Evaluate Physical PPAs, Virtual PPAs, Open Access PPAs, Captive/Group-Captive models, and On-site Renewable Agreements. Develop load forecasts and procurement scenarios. Prepare RFIs/RFPs and assess tariff, blocking issue, tenure, capacity, generation profile, banking, wheeling, transmission, scheduling, forecasting, and settlement. Perform financial analysis including NPV, IRR, payback, sensitivity, and landed-cost comparison. Assess regulatory, market, counterparty, curtailment, generation, credit, and change-in-law risks. Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams on negotiations and contracts. Review contractual clauses including capacity, tariff, term, COD, guarantees, supply commitments, payment security, change in law, force majeure, default, termination, and renewable attribute ownership. Monitor invoices, energy credits, open-access charges, and regulatory changes.
D. ISO 50001 Energy Management System
Lead the establishment, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ISO 50001 EnMS. Define EnMS scope and boundaries, identifying static factors and variables affecting energy performance. Integrate energy considerations into the building, procurement, equipment selection, and modifications. Conduct awareness programs, training, audits, compliance reviews, management reviews, and certification audits.
Manage non-conformities, corrective actions, closure evidence, and documentation. Coordinate with corporate and site energy teams.
E. Energy Awards & Efficiency Projects
Participate in energy awards and competitions. Identify energy conservation opportunities in Chillers & Cooling Towers, HVAC/AHUs/MAUs, Compressed Air Systems, Process Cooling Water, Vacuum Systems, Electrical Distribution, Transformers & UPS, Cleanroom Ventilation & Filtration, Exhaust & Abatement Systems, Pumps, Fans & Motors, Lighting Systems, and Manufacturing & Testing Equipment. Evaluate VFDs, efficient motors, heat recovery, heat pumps, automation, advanced controls, power management, and demand-response systems.
F. Energy Data & Digitalization
Develop dashboards for renewable generation, energy cost, and project savings. Prepare monthly energy scorecards and management reports. Ensure accuracy, traceability, retention, and compliance of energy data for regulatory, ISO, ESG, and financial reporting.
G. Regulatory & Collaborator Management
Track electricity, renewable energy, captive power, open access, and energy-efficiency regulations. Collaborate with utilities, regulators, agencies, consultants, transmission entities, and load-dispatch centers. Assist with approvals, compliance, scheduling, banking, wheeling, captive status, and renewable energy procurement. Keep approvals, agreements, invoices, energy accounting, and compliance records up to date. Act as the organization's representative in technical discussions, audits, consultations, ESG disclosures, and sustainability reporting.
