Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Category Insights, you will provide in-depth analysis to determine category strategy and opportunities for our Sales, Distribution, Category Development, and other teams across the organization. You will focus on turning multiple sources of data and insights (Circana, Nielsen, Numerator, Research, Shipment data, Industry Insights, etc.) into strategy support materials that will promote Red Bull and Category growth.
Job Description
CATEGORY MANAGEMENT
Develop regular Category Management-focused insights materials, inclusive of Category reviews, Macro trends, Total Beverage trends, Competitor Brand Evaluations, Channel Strategies, and Industry Summaries.
Create meaningful reports using multiple data sources like Circana, Nielsen, Shopper Numerator, and Shipment data to help support overall goals across our Sales and Marketing organizations.
Support impactful insight communication platforms to our organization.
Build, influence, and use relationships across Insights and Category Development and the broader Sales and Marketing organizations to share best practices and resources.
ANALYSIS
Analyze and develop insights on industry trends and opportunities
Manage monthly reporting and communication of resources
Analyze category, shopper, consumer and industry data to develop impactful insights and identify opportunities.
Provide analytical support with accompanying insights in the creation of Category & Brand projects.
REPORTING
Provide ad hoc analysis as defined by the Sr. Manager of Category Insights and the broader leadership team.
Establish best practice reporting and lead report updates.
Enhance Red Bull's reporting tools.
Qualifications
2+ years experience in a Category, Sales, Marketing or Analyst role
Experienced with creating fact-based selling stories
Knowledge of the consumer goods industry including class of trade, customer groups, category, competitive products, competitive strategies and industry trends.
Knowledge of syndicated data (Circana, Nielsen, etc.) and Shopper Panel and Loyalty data.
Experienced in Excel (can perform complex functions) and PowerPoint
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
Additional Information
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $67,200 to $100,800 + cash incentives.
Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
