As a Catalog Operations Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting Catalog Expansion, the largest growth driver on GOVX. You will work to load all Sellers and Products to GOVX with optimized data to support both discovery and conversion across the Catalog. You will become the expert in your category and the industry standard data to support conversion within the category.  

You are ultimately responsible for ensuring that products and sellers are built and published in a timely manner, have all required data to remain published and have the best elements (including but not limited to size charts, images, videos, descriptions and specifications) to drive conversion and allow GOVX members to make a purchase decision without navigating away from GOVX for further research.  

Responsibilities 

Product data 

  • Upload new products and keep product data current, including pricing, inventory and seasonal catalog changes. 
  • Update product pricing to execute on promotions with the Marketing Calendar. 
  • Ensure products have all relevant and necessary information to drive discovery and conversion within the catalog: images with multiple angles, video, size charts, correct variants, descriptions and specifications.  
  • Map relevant products to primary categories in the GOVX taxonomy 
  • Tag products with relevant keywords to drive catalog discoverability 
  • QA product data against onsite search queries to ensure the most relevant products are optimized to appear in top searches 

Seller data 

  • Upload seller marketing images, including promo squares and tiles 
  • Map relevant sellers to primary categories in the GOVX taxonomy 
  • Manage modules on seller pages to create a compelling user experience, with a focus on cross-selling between sellers 

Offer data 

  • Load and rank offers to ensure the best converting offers are appearing on seller pages.  

Event data 

  • Upload new events and keep event data current, including making sure they are mapped to the correct offers 

Catalog Optimization 

You are responsible for optimizing products, sellers and offers by making sure that all supporting information and tags are complete, so that products are discoverable throughout the catalog.  

  • Ensure that only relevant products are showing up in collections (managed through accurate product data) 
  • Manage product mapping rules per collection to ensure the right products are being included in the collection 
  • Map relevant filters to each collection and ensure products are tagged correctly to achieve the desired filter results 

Your success will be measured by category specific SLAs around the product and seller data that you manage. This could include but is not limited to: % of products with 3 or more images, % of products with video, % of products with size charts and bounce rate from product pages in your category.  

You are responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships with cross functional teams including Marketing, Customer Care, Logistics and Product.

Requirements

1–2 Years' experience in an office environment performing project-based work. 

  • 1–2 Years' experience in ecommerce or retail preferred. 
  • Comfortable using complex equations and formulas in Excel. 
  • Solution and results oriented. 
  • Passionate and mission driven. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to switch between projects without sacrificing quality and accuracy. 
  • Proven ability to multitask and deliver work with a high level of accuracy. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and CRM experience preferred. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Superior analytical and math skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Analytics. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 

Travel Requirements: No travel is expected for this position. 

Work Location 

During your 90-day introductory period, you will be required to report to the GOVX corporate office in San Diego, CA and work five days per week and a full 8-hour shift each day from the office. After successful completion of the 90-day introductory period, you will transition to a hybrid schedule that combines working onsite at the GOVX corporate office in San Diego, CA and working remotely from home. You will be required to report to the office a minimum of three days per week and work a full eight-hour shift each day from the office. Start and end times are flexible, but you will be required to be in the office during the core business hours of 9:30am – 2:30pm. The in-office days will be based on business needs to be set by your manager. No relocation allowance or visa sponsorship will be provided.

Salary Range
$26.50 - $28.50 per hour DOE
