THE ROLE
Cashmere Lab Testing & Quality Leader
Responsibilities:
- Lead the testing and quality assurance of cashmere raw materials and finished products.
- Establish and maintain testing standards for composition, fiber length, fineness, and color consistency.
- Supervise laboratory operations and ensure compliance with international testing standards (GB, ISO, ASTM).
- Collaborate with suppliers, brands, and third-party testing institutions (e.g., SGS, BV, TUV, UL, Shanghai Garment Research Institute).
- Build and manage QA/QC teams, train staff, and implement standardized testing procedures.
- Provide technical reports and data analysis to support procurement, production, and R&D decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing methods, including micro-analysis and advanced fiber testing technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Textile Engineering, Material Science, or related fields.
- Proven experience in cashmere or wool fiber testing, with strong knowledge of raw material analysis.
- Background in either brand-side QA/QC or third-party testing institutions is highly welcomed.
- Familiarity with international and domestic testing methods (composition, length, color, oil content for down/feather).
- Strong leadership and team management skills, able to supervise multi-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities across suppliers, factories, and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.

All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.

We started Quince to challenge the existing idea that nice things should cost a lot.
