Cash Forecast Manager

Join Kantar Business Services (KBS) as the Cash Forecast Manager and lead a team of analysts who are responsible for predicting and reporting cashflow across various markets. In this role, you will collaborate with customers at senior levels, such as Regional and Group Treasury, to drive improvements and ensure precise forecasting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Influence: Manage and mentor a team of specialist analysts responsible for preparing and consolidating cashflow forecasts for multiple markets.
  • Collaborative Oversight: Take ownership of preparing and submitting weekly consolidated Cash Flow Forecasts (CFF) to Group Treasury, providing valuable insights to senior collaborators.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for Group Treasury, facilitating smooth communication between KBS and treasury teams.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance cashflow forecasting processes by utilizing your audit and analytical background to find opportunities for improved accuracy and efficiency.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with in-market finance teams, Net Working Capital Manager, and Group Treasury to ensure alignment on cashflow objectives.
  • Comprehensive Review: Analyze actual cash flows against forecasts, ensuring that cash balances align, and all variances are reconciled.
  • Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure adherence to Kantar's net working capital rules and accurately manage and approve any exceptions.
  • End-to-End Visibility: Coordinate the cashflow forecast updates, including payroll, taxes, intercompany payments, supplier payments, and factoring cash flows.
  • Technology & Tools: Make use of your experience with ERP systems (e.g., Onestream/TIS) and Excel to streamline cashflow processes and improve forecasting accuracy.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business (or equivalent experience).
  • Audit or Finance Expertise: Prior experience in Treasury, Financial Accounting, Audit, or related positions. A background in audit will establish a solid foundation for the analytical and methodical aspects of this role.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a small team in a similar function, with a focus on mentoring and team performance.
  • Analytical Excellence: Strong financial forecasting and analytical skills, particularly in cashflow forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills are essential; experience with business process technologies and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior collaborators and cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability & Initiative: A proactive approach, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and take ownership of improvements.
  • Languages: Proficient English (written and spoken) is required.
