Position Overview: 

The Case Manager will provide ongoing on-site services that are culturally competent in the pursuit of supporting asylum seekers to resettle without needing to rely on city’s provided housing. The case manager will play a crucial role in meeting the needs of families in the sanctuary hotel site including assisting in the relocation of families. Case managers will work with individuals and families facing various challenges, such as economic hardship, mental health issues, or child welfare concerns.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, human services or equivalent from an accredited college as well as a minimum of two years’ experience working with youth and or families that are considered immigrants, refugees or other vulnerable populations. Shelter and or residential experience required. Must be a team player and have the ability to work independently. Must be flexible and able to work some evenings and weekends. Schedule may be staggered. Bilingual required; must have strong conversation and writing skills in both English and Spanish.
