Program Summary:
Women’s Rise is a residential work release program providing case management, job readiness, and substance and mental health education to adult females who are under the supervision of DOC. We help women rise as they reenter their communities.
Position Summary
The Case Manager 1 will utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach, providing structure, case management, job development and supervision to justice-involved women as they re-enter the community. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice-involved. An ability to be both structured and compassionate while maintaining professional and respectful boundaries is required.
Working within Adult Services, the Case Manager 1 works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of related experience in the direct service and case management field
- Associate's Degree
- Valid driver’s license
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
Orientation:
If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
