JOB PURPOSE: The Case Aide Specialist will assist Supportive Housing programs through various administrative and case management functions. The Case Aide Specialist will work closely with case managers in providing comprehensive wrap around case management services.

 

The Case Aide Specialist will assist Case Managers and Program Leadership with tasks associated with serving clients and their families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with the goal of increasing their quality of life and maintaining the highest possible ability to function within the community.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Conduct attempts to locate clients for initial intake appointments
  • Conduct client screening assessments
  • Assist with data entry
  • Order essentials after clients are housed
  • Prepare packets of required documentation to process financial assistance
  • General administrative functions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist with entering information and maintaining databases
  • Running program errands and assist walk in clients
  • Conduct outreach and engagement activities
  • Communicate with service providers and community stakeholders
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service, in everything you do, by placing the child, family, Veteran or client first to support our mission to “Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families and their communities.”

                                                                                                                                                                                   

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or related field, preferred but not required.


EXPERIENCE: 1+ years case management experience; 3+ years preferred. 2+ years in a customer service focused environment. Experience with homeless, low income, domestic violence survivors & their families a strong plus.


LICENSES Driver’s License with clear record required.


VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice. Up to 80% travel within assigned geographic area.


OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must be available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required to meet business needs. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
