Job Details:
- Hours: Part-time, 12 hours per week
- Pay: $18 / hour
- Location: 116 1st Ave NW, New Prague, MN 56071
Caretaker Job Objective(s)
To keep assigned inside and outside common areas and available units of the property clean, orderly and pleasant. Provide an environmentally safe and clean setting for the residents and guests of the property.
Caretaker Responsibilities:
- Clean and restock restrooms
- Clean common areas (i.e., lobby, community room, library), offices and other assigned areas
- Vacuum common area rugs and carpets, sweep, scrub, and mop floors
- Clean guest suites
- Cleaning units at turnover
- Empty waste receptacles and clean trash room
- Wash windows, walls and doors
- Dust common areas, furniture and windows
- Check lights in hallways and stairwells
- Other duties assigned
- On occasion, handle after hours/on-call situations
Outdoor Cleaning
- Walk the property and pick up trash and empty garbage bins
- Wash outdoor furniture, sweep debris by outdoor furniture and grill area
- Complete work orders as assigned by manager
- Shovel snow at entrances and sidewalks as needed
- Use ice melt product on sidewalks and parking lots as needed.
Qualifications:
- Caretaking experience preferred.
- Experience in janitorial, cleaning, and customer service.
- Must live within 20 minutes driving distance to the property.
This position requires successful completion of a Kari Koskinen Manager Background Check, as required by Minnesota law for employees who may have access to tenants' homes. The background check will not be initiated until after an applicant has been selected for an interview, or if there is not an interview, before a conditional offer of employment is made to the applicant.
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9am - 1pm
12 hours per week
