Help Students Turn Education into CareersSuccess Education Colleges (SEC), home to North-West College, Glendale Career College, Nevada Career Institute, and Marsha Fuerst School of Nursing, has been a trusted leader in allied health education for over 58 years.
We’re seeking a motivated Career Services Coordinator who is passionate about helping students and graduates successfully transition into the workforce. If you enjoy coaching, building relationships, and making a direct impact, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do- Provide one-on-one career advising to students and graduates
- Coach students on resume writing, interview skills, and job search strategies
- Build relationships with local employers and externship sites
- Generate job leads through outreach (calls, site visits, networking)
- Support students during externships and help resolve any challenges
- Track placements and assist with employment verification (90-day follow-up)
- Maintain accurate student and employment records
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success
- High school diploma or equivalent required (some college preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in customer service, administration, or a related field
- Background in career services, recruiting, staffing, job development, or sales preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to meet goals and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of healthcare/medical industry is a plus
