The Role

Job Description:Details of the role and how it fits into the team

Product Management Issuing is accountable for the development and portfolio management of all consumer and commercial card products issued under the various brands of Deutsche Bank Group. Linked to that is the ownership of the product PnL and the e2e responsibility for the underlying debit- und credit card processes. That includes securing of operational processes required for card-based payments, the issuing of cards and the complete lifecycle management. The management of necessary vendors lies also in the remit of Product Management Issuing. Driving growth and developing card products and portfolios strategically are at the core of Product Management Cards.

Your key responsibilities

  • Conceptualizing test management for user acceptance testing for strategic card initiatives

  • Leading the user acceptance testing in major card initiatives by planning and managing the test execution and defect fixing in line with the overall project plan, reporting and presentation of test status in management meetings

  • Managing the existing process and underlying platform landscape for credit and debit card processing

  • Leading the implementation of key platform projects and managing and maintaining the card processing platform within day-to-day business

  • Supporting the value contribution of Issuing by managing costs of vendors and initiating and implementing efficiency measures

Your skills and experiences

  • Profound knowledge of cards (debit and credit cards) incl. underlying value chains, operating models and related authentication systems – specific processor knowledge is an advantage

  • Multi-year experience in implementing projects, test management, sourcing and negotiating Issuing-related services and managing vendors

  • Strong focus on solution design and pronounced assertiveness

  • Teamplayer with a strong commitment and willingness to deliver

  • Fluent in German and English
