Imerys er en stor, global organisation med flere end 12500 medarbejdere på globalt plan. 

Du bliver en del af Imerys i Danmark med omkring 90 kolleger på vores hovedkontor og 2 forarbejdningsanlæg på Fur og Mors, som er de eneste steder, hvor der findes ”ægte moler” – en unik ikke-klumpende ler med millioner af år på bagen, og som vi bl.a. forarbejder.

Du får base på smukke Fur, hvor du bliver en del af en økonomifunktion der skal sikre at opgaverne der er en del af både de månedlige lokale aktiviteter og kravene for rapporteringer og indberetninger for det globale set up overholdes.

Du driver processerne for at sikre den overordnede strategi udføres lokalt i samarbejde med vores controller og din medarbejder. Herudover kommer du til at være ansvarlig for at sikre at afdelingen er klar til både interne og eksterne audits.

Struktur og overblik er vigtige egenskaber … men det er dit mindset også – så du formår at tage selvstændigt ansvar for at drive processerne fremad og i mål. Og så har du gode menneske- og kommunikationsegenskaber, så du kan begå dig på tværs af kulturer og sprog fra topledelse til lokale samarbejdspartnere.

Vi forestiller os at du har en baggrund som uddannet revisor samt erfaring fra en lignende stilling. Gerne med 5 år eller mere. Ideelt set har du allerede erfaring med SAP systemet, og det vil være et plus hvis du før har arbejdet med økonomi i et internationalt setup. På grund af virksomhedens opbygning er det også vigtigt at du formulerer dig godt på både dansk og engelsk.

Are you our new Finance Manager?

Is your dream to be responsible for ensuring the financial function for the Danish branch of a global company? Then perhaps you should be the next Finance Manager at Imerys.

A local atmosphere in a global setting

Imerys is a large, international company with more than 12500 18,000 employees globally.

You will be part of Imerys in Denmark with around 90 colleagues at our head office and 2 processing plants at Fur and Mors, which are one of the only places where “real moler” are found – a unique non-clumping clay with millions of years of history, which we process, among other things.

You will be based in beautiful Fur, where you will be part of an accounting function that must ensure that the tasks that are part of both the monthly local activities and the requirements for reporting and notifications for the global set-up, are met.

You drive the processes to ensure that the overall strategy is carried out locally, in collaboration with our controller and your employee. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that the department is ready for both internal and external audits.

Structure and overview are important qualities ... but so is your mindset - so that you are able to take independent responsibility for driving the processes forward and to the goal. On top, you have good people and communication skills, so that you can work across cultures and languages, ​​from top management to local partners.

We imagine that you have a background as a qualified accountant and experience from a similar position. Preferably with 5 years or more. Ideally, you already have experience with the SAP system, and it would be a plus if you have worked previously with finance in an international setup. Due to the structure of the company, it is also important that you express yourself well in both Danish and English.
