Summary

Strider’s Government Growth team brings our mission to U.S. federal agencies responsible for national security, economic security, and research protection. We are hiring a Capture Analyst to help us understand where federal missions and Strider’s capabilities intersect—and turn that understanding into informed growth decisions.

In this role, you will research federal markets, identify and qualify new opportunities, analyze customers and competitors, and translate complex market information into clear recommendations that shape how Strider pursues and wins federal business. You will develop an understanding of how agencies buy, what mission challenges are driving their requirements, and where Strider can deliver meaningful value.

Your analysis will directly influence which opportunities we pursue and how we approach them. You will work alongside colleagues across Growth, Intelligence, Product, Government Affairs, Contracts, and Technical teams, gaining exposure to the full federal opportunity lifecycle while helping put Strider’s strategic intelligence capabilities in the hands of customers protecting U.S. innovation and national security.

Key QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, government, political science, international relations, security studies, communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • 2+ years of experience supporting federal business development, capture, proposal operations, market or competitive intelligence, or growth strategy.

  • Experience researching federal opportunities using platforms such as GovWin IQ, SAM.gov, USAspending.gov, FPDS, GSA eBuy, or similar government and market-intelligence resources.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large volumes of market, customer, procurement, and competitive information and translate findings into clear recommendations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex procurement or market information into concise materials for executive audiences.

  • Ability to manage multiple research and capture priorities while maintaining accurate, timely opportunity and market information.

  • Working knowledge of the federal procurement environment and the ability to research agency missions, acquisition activity, budgets, and strategic priorities.

  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance.

  • U.S. citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting capture or market intelligence for the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, Department of Homeland Security, law enforcement, or national-security-focused civilian agencies.

  • Familiarity with federal acquisition of data, analytics, open-source intelligence (OSINT), AI/ML, cybersecurity, supply chain risk management, counterintelligence, research security, or vetting and screening capabilities.

  • Working knowledge of federal acquisition pathways and contract vehicles, including GSA MAS, Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs), Other Transactions (OTs/OTAs), SBIR/STTR programs, and agency-specific IDIQs.

  • Active or prior U.S. security clearance.

  • Previous experience in an intelligence, national security, or policy research role.

Description

As a Capture Analyst, you will build the market and competitive intelligence that supports Strider’s federal growth strategy. You will follow opportunities from early market signals through active capture, helping the team understand customer priorities, competitive dynamics, acquisition strategies, and potential paths to win.

You will:

  • Monitor and analyze SAM.gov, GovWin IQ, USAspending.gov, FPDS, GSA eBuy, and other government and market-intelligence resources to identify, qualify, and assess opportunities across defense, intelligence, homeland security, and federal civilian agencies.

  • Research agency budgets, strategic plans, procurement forecasts, and modernization priorities to identify emerging demand for strategic intelligence, OSINT, supply chain risk, research security, personnel vetting, and related capabilities.

  • Track and support responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), Sources Sought notices, Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Other Transaction opportunities.

  • Analyze incumbent contractors, contract vehicles, agency buying patterns, competitors, and potential teaming partners to inform capture plans and teaming strategies.

  • Develop competitive assessments, customer profiles, agency landscape analyses, and other inputs that support capture and win strategies.

  • Synthesize market, customer, and competitive intelligence from public sources, government resources, industry publications, and subscription platforms into concise, decision-ready analysis.

  • Prepare executive summaries, market assessments, recommendations, and briefing materials for Growth leadership and the executive team.

  • Maintain accurate opportunity, customer, and competitive information in Strider’s CRM and pipeline systems.

  • Support pipeline reporting, KPI tracking, opportunity qualification, and strategic growth planning.

  • Partner with Capture, Proposals, Product, Government Affairs, Contracts, and Technical teams throughout the federal opportunity lifecycle.

  • Represent Strider at relevant industry days, customer events, and professional associations to gather market intelligence and strengthen understanding of customer priorities.

  • Take on additional responsibilities as Strider’s federal business and Government Growth team continue to scale.
