The Capital Markets Proposition Consultant is a customer-facing, sales-oriented role focused on clearly articulating and demonstrating the FNZ Capital Markets proposition, with particular emphasis on the Syn~ platform.
The role works closely with Sales, Product, and Solution Consulting teams to support pre-sales activities and proposition development. The primary focus is on helping prospective and existing customers understand how FNZ’s capital markets capabilities address their business and technology objectives. Success for this role is measured by the effectiveness of pre-sales support in enabling sales revenue and positive customer outcomes for FNZ.
Specific Role
Responsibilities Sales & Pre-Sales Enablement
· Support Sales teams across the full pre-sales lifecycle, including early-stage customer discussions and proposition shaping.
· Deliver compelling, customer-appropriate Syn~ demonstrations.
· Help customers understand FNZ’s capital markets value proposition and differentiators.
· Lead and participate in customer-facing meetings, workshops, and proposition walk-throughs.
· Confidently engage senior client stakeholders (commercial and technical) to represent FNZ capabilities.
Proposition & Presentation Development
· Develop and maintain high-quality pre-sales presentations, demos, and supporting materials for FNZ Capital Markets and Syn~.
· Translate complex post-trade and platform concepts into clear, customer-friendly narratives.
· Work closely with Solution Consultants and Product Owners to ensure proposition material accurately reflects platform capabilities.
· Collaborate with Marketing to ensure consistency of messaging, branding, and narrative across all external materials.
RFI / RFP Support
· Contribute to responses for RFIs and RFPs relating to FNZ Capital Markets and Syn~.
· Coordinate with internal subject-matter experts to produce accurate, well-structured, and proposition-led responses.
· Help build and maintain a reusable RFP response knowledge base, including supporting the development of AI-enabled RFP response tooling.
Experience Required
Essential
· Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and confidently.
· Proven experience engaging customers in a pre-sales, proposition, or consulting context.
· Excellent written communication skills, particularly for presentations and RFI/RFP responses.
· Strong commercial awareness and understanding of enterprise sales cycles.
· Ability to work effectively across sales, product, and technical teams.
Preferred
· Experience in capital markets, post-trade processing, clearing, settlement, or custody.
· Background in solution consulting, pre-sales, or proposition roles within financial services or fintech.
· Familiarity with capital markets platforms (including Syn~ or comparable systems).
· Experience contributing to structured RFI/RFP responses.
· Interest or experience in applying AI tools to improve sales or bid-management processes.
