Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Supply Chain (Procurement / Purchase) to manage and execute procurement operations. The role involves vendor management, sourcing strategy, and ensuring timely material availability. The ideal candidate should come from the automotive or consumer appliances industry with hands-on experience in supplier development, cost negotiation, and procurement excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end procurement activities — from RFQ generation to PO creation and vendor coordination.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials, components, and consumables.

Conduct quotation analysis, price benchmarking, and cost negotiations to achieve optimal savings.

Ensure on-time availability of materials to meet production and project timelines.

Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) metrics and implement improvement plans.

Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, logistics, and production teams for smooth procurement execution.

Maintain accurate procurement data, reports, and supplier documentation within ERP systems.

Support supplier audits, documentation, and compliance processes as per company and client standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 4 years in Procurement / Purchase / Supply Chain within Automotive or Consumer Appliances industry.

Strong understanding of sourcing, vendor development, and cost analysis processes.

Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.

Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and supply chain operations.
