Overview:

As a Canvassing Volunteer, you will play a vital role in engaging with the community to raise awareness and support for a cause. You will be responsible for face-to-face outreach, distributing informational materials, and encouraging community members to act, such as signing petitions, pledging support, or voting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Walk door-to-door or engage with people in public spaces to share information about campaigns.

  • Have meaningful conversations to educate and motivate individuals to take action.

  • Answer basic questions and direct individuals to appropriate resources for more information.

  • Record interactions and feedback to help refine outreach strategies.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to walk for extended periods and work outdoors (if applicable).

  • Prior canvassing or outreach experience is a plus but not required, training will be provided.
