About Woven by Toyota
Woven by Toyota is enabling Toyota’s once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company. Inspired by a legacy of innovating for the benefit of others, our mission is to challenge the current state of mobility through human-centric innovation — expanding what “mobility” means and how it serves society.
Our work centers on four pillars: AD/ADAS, our autonomous driving and advanced driver assist technologies; Arene, our software development platform for software-defined vehicles; Woven City, a test course for mobility; and Cloud & AI, the digital infrastructure powering our collaborative foundation. Business-critical functions empower these teams to execute, and together, we’re working toward one bold goal: a world with zero accidents and enhanced well-being for all.

TEAM
Toyota is redefining what it means to move. We're challenging the current state of mobility by enhancing the movement of people, goods, information and energy. Centered around three core concepts - A Living Laboratory™, Human-Centered, and Ever Evolving City™ - Woven City serves as a test course for mobility to fulfill our purpose of well-being for all.
We do this by bringing together a diverse community of people with a shared passion for the future of mobility to co-create, develop and refine innovative products and services. This cross-section of social infrastructure, mobility, and people provides a unique opportunity for inventors, residents and visitors to interact seamlessly with new technologies throughout daily life in an environment that emulates a real city.
Stakeholder Communications team at Woven by Toyota is responsible for managing all external communications within Woven City, with a "one voice" approach.
The Weavers Onboarding team, which is part of the Stakeholder Communications team, is responsible for recruiting residents and visitors to Woven City, known as “Weavers”.
As preparations for the launch of Woven City steadily progress, this is an extremely important team that will be responsible for appropriately communicating and planning recruitment that is tailored to the needs of Weavers (residents and visitors) in order to attract people who share Woven City's vision.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Weavers will participate in the demonstration in a variety of ways during their time in Woven City, testing ideas for Inventors' products and services and providing feedback from their own diverse perspectives. For this reason, they are an indispensable and very important part of Woven City, the "City of Demonstrations. Weavers (Residents) Application has partially begun in 2025, with Toyota-related personnel and others moving in first, but this application is expected to expand in the future. We also plan to accept Weavers (Visitors) from 2026 onward.
As the acceptance of these people steadily progresses, it is very important to communicate appropriately and conduct recruitment planning that is close to Weavers (residents/visitors) in order to attract people who share Woven City's aspirations. In planning the recruitment and acceptance of these Weavers (residents and visitors), we will be required to make decisions from a corporate perspective while taking into account the wishes of each organization. We are looking for someone who has power, speed, and the ability to be close to the Weavers (residents/visitors) to participate in the project.
