Position Summary
To
manage and oversee all camp operations, accommodation facilities, catering
services, housekeeping, maintenance, security, transportation, and employee
welfare activities to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable living
environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Camp Operations
Management
· Oversee the day-to-day
operations of the camp facility.
· Ensure camp facilities
are maintained in a clean, safe, and functional condition.
· Coordinate
accommodation allocation and room occupancy management.
· Maintain accurate camp
occupancy records.
2. Employee Welfare,
Transportation and Accommodation
· Ensure employees are
provided with suitable accommodation and welfare facilities and proper
scheduling.
· Address employee
concerns related to camp living conditions.
· Promote employee
well-being and a positive camp environment.
· Ensure that
transportation for the employees and workers is provided, convenient, safe and
on time.
3. Catering and Food
Services
· Supervise catering
service providers and food quality standards.
· Ensure meals are
prepared and served according to agreed standards and timeliness.
· Monitor food hygiene
and compliance with health regulations.
· Ensure regular
evaluation of the food service providers.
4. Health, Safety, and
Security
· Ensure compliance with
company HSE policies and procedures in coordination with HSE team.
· Conduct regular
inspections of camp facilities.
· Coordinate emergency
preparedness and response activities.
· Monitor security
arrangements and access control measures in coordination with the Security Agency.
5. Housekeeping and
Maintenance
· Supervise proper
housekeeping and quality cleaning services.
· Coordinate preventive
and corrective maintenance of camp infrastructure.
· Ensure adequate
utilities including water, electricity, sanitation, and waste management.
· Ensure cleanliness,
sanitation and orderliness of the company facilities.
6. Budget and Cost Control
· Monitor camp
operational expenses and budgets.
· Control costs while
maintaining service quality.
· Verify supplier
invoices and service delivery.
7. Contractor and Vendor
Management
· Manage relationships
with service providers and contractors.
· Monitor contractor
performance against service agreements based on agreed standards.
· Ensure compliance with
contractual obligations.
Administration
and Reporting
· Prepare camp occupancy
and operational reports.
· Maintain records
relating to accommodation, assets, incidents, and maintenance.
Requirements
Education
· Bachelor's Degree or
Diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Facilities
Management, Logistics, Human Resources, or a related field.
· Additional training in
Health & Safety is an added advantage.
Experience
· Minimum of 3–5 years of
experience in camp management, hospitality, facilities management,
administration, or a similar operational role.
· Experience managing
remote-site camps, agricultural camps, mining camps, construction camps, or
industrial accommodation facilities is highly desirable.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Facilities Management, Logistics, Human Resources, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in camp management, hospitality, facilities management, administration, or a similar operational role
- Experience managing remote-site, agricultural, mining, construction, or industrial accommodation camps
- Additional training in Health and Safety
