About the Role
This 12-month Chartered Accountancy Industrial Training role offers an exceptional opportunity to work closely with the Record to Report (RTR), Management Reporting, Process Controls, and Ice Cream Separation (Project Verdi) teams. You will be directly involved in supporting month-end close, financial reporting, control governance, master data, and legal entity carve-out activities associated with the global Ice Cream business separation. This role is ideal for CA students seeking deep exposure to global finance operations, transformation programs, and complex multi-entity accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Month-End Closing & Financial Reporting
Assist with Trial Balance review, flux analysis, and validation activities across multiple countries.
Support in preparing month-end correction journals, reconciliations, and schedules.
Help coordinate Country Lock meetings and ensure timely submission of MEC deliverables.
Controls, Compliance & Audit Support
Support compliance activities aligned to Global Controls Framework (GFCF).
Help maintain documentation for SOX, ICFR, internal audits, and control monitoring.
Assist in control health checks for new Ice Cream legal entities (82+ entities) under separation scope.
Process Excellence & Transformation
Help map current processes and identify improvements aligned to Global Process Model (GPM).
Contribute to documentation, SOP creation, KT decks, and process simplification initiatives.
Master Data, Access & Governance Support
Support financial master data activities including GL Account / Cost Centres validations.
Qualifications & Eligibility
CA Finalist eligible for 12-month Industrial Training as per ICAI norms.
Strong academic foundation in accounting, finance, and financial reporting.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting fundamentals.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SAP / ERP preferred.
Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-country, global operations environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Exposure to one of the world’s largest business separations (Ice Cream demerger).
Experience in global controls, audits, and financial governance.
Collaboration with global finance teams, 3PSPs, and functional experts across ComEx.
