Who you’ll be working with:
We are looking for an exceptional and passionate C++ Team Leader to establish and lead a NEW C++ development team, working on IP protocols and deep packet inspection solutions.
As a Cognyter you will:
- Hire, lead and manage a team, providing technical guidance and support
- Be the Scrum Master for the team, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality standards
- Lead the design of the features
- Monitor the execution of tasks and ensure timely completion of project milestones
- Identify and address any blockers or impediments that may arise during the development process, taking proactive steps to resolve them
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team, as well as with other stakeholders
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and promote professional growth
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
Requirements
For that mission you’ll need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in establishing and leading development teams
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience as a Scrum Master
- Extensive hands-on experience in C++ development, including code reviews
- Knowledge of IP networking and protocols (all OSI layers)
- Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues in a large-scale and complex systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize work effectively, and meet project deadlines
- A passion for technology, a self-driven attitude, and a continuous learning mindset
- Willingness to travel abroad
- Fluent verbal & written communication in English
- An endlessly curious mind
