Overall Responsibilities:
- Design and develop performance-critical functional changes in collaboration with senior technical leadership.
- Proactively contribute to building a resilient platform by adapting and reviewing practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Grasp complex C++ components and occasionally work with C#.NET as needed.
- Demonstrate a steep learning curve to understand application flows and independently work in the scrum.
- Learn about the product and all parts of the system at the code level.
- Take initiative for technical/process improvements.
- Perform code reviews and technically guide junior developers.
- Contribute to maintenance activities as required.
- Write automated unit tests and contribute to the CI/CD migration of the application.
- Provide 3rd line support, including support from home as part of a global rotational system.
- Take on tasks independently and own them across all stages of the SDLC.
Software Requirements:
- High level of comfort and expertise in C++ programming, including STL, multi-threaded applications, and services.
- Good knowledge of RDBMS / SQL.
- Familiarity with .NET.
- Experience with automated unit testing and CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
Category-wise Technical Skills:
- C++ Programming: High level of expertise in C++ programming, including STL and multi-threaded applications.
- Database Management: Good knowledge of RDBMS / SQL.
- .NET: Comfortable working with C#.NET as needed.
- Unit Testing & CI/CD: Proficiency in writing automated unit tests and contributing to CI/CD.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile team practices and processes.
- Additional Technologies: Experience with MFC, TypeScript, and IBM MQ is beneficial.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on C++ programming.
- Proven track record of designing and developing performance-critical components.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in C++ and related technologies are a plus.
