Job Description:
We are looking for an innovative Buyer with fluency in either Spanish, French, Italian or German ideally as well as full proficiency in the English language.
You will be at the forefront of the procurement team, managing, maintaining and improving core processes and liaising with global vendors to help the procurement team meet global business goals.
You will lead negotiations with existing and potential global suppliers, with a win-win outcome at the forefront of your mind at all times, creating solid, long lasting relationships.
The value you will deliver
You will place purchase orders against our worldwide list of vendors
Liaise daily with Customer Service, Fulfilment, Finance & Product Teams to support you in resolving supplier / PO receipt exceptions in a timely manner
Carry out contract reviews / renewals on an ongoing basis
You will work on continuous improvement programs with global vendors
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with vendors to ensure best in class practices
Review exceptions at daily procurement inventory meeting to ensure zero stock outs and best customer experience
You will support improving internal and external procurement procedures and procurement turnaround times
Solve vendor related issues and audit vendor information
You will steer vendor business reviews and drive closure of actions within an appropriate timeframe
Display an understanding of market requirements to improve client offering as needed
You will have the opportunity to get involved in projects, process improvements, and experimentation.
The skills you will bring
You have a strong track record in negotiating with global vendors and offering innovative solutions. Ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience.
You are determined to show respect for all, looking for win-win solutions with our vendors
A proven interest in delivering solutions and improvements through knowledge and application of AI
Excellent knowledge and use of Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
You have previously used ERP systems
You are experienced with customer/vendor processes, escalations and resolution
You have a proven analytical ability to take project from concept to presentation and solution using project management capability
Achievements
IIPMM or similar Business degree qualification or equivalent experience
