【Division and Products】
Valeo Japan is composed of four divisions:
１）Power Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions related to thermal management, comfort, and electric powertrains to accelerate electrification.
２）Brain Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions to accelerate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and reimagine interior experiences.
３）Light Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions for lighting everywhere.
４）Valeo Service Division ： Provides after-sales services for all products from Divisions 1-3.

当社の購買部門にて、材料コスト削減やサプライヤーマネジメントを中心とした購買業務を担当いただきます。
事業部門やグローバル購買組織と連携しながら、コスト競争力向上に向けた調達戦略の立案・実行、サプライヤーとの価格交渉、改善活動の推進をお任せします。
【Responsibilities】
As a member of the Purchasing team, you will be responsible for driving material cost reduction initiatives, supplier management, and procurement improvement activities.
Working closely with internal business divisions and global purchasing organizations, you will lead sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and productivity improvement projects to enhance cost competitiveness.

【Key Responsibilities】
- Define and implement material productivity initiatives, including technical improvements, resourcing activities, and logistics optimization
- Lead supplier negotiations and cost reduction activities to achieve purchasing targets
- Collaborate with global commodity teams and internal stakeholders to meet sourcing objectives
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance
- Support supplier selection and onboarding processes for new sourcing opportunities
- Develop purchasing budgets and cost improvement plans in cooperation with internal teams
- Implement mitigation plans to address cost fluctuations and supply risks
- Ensure proper logistics processes and supply chain coverage for purchased components
- Apply and promote internal purchasing standards, procedures, certification requirements, and procurement systems
