Position Summary
Essential Job Functions:
Analyze demand requirements to determine the most efficient delivery strategies.
Maintain Purchase Order data integrity and ensure promise date accuracy.
Obtain supplier delivery commitments and expedite when necessary to meet required dates.
Resolve supplier issues related to pricing, delivery, receiving, and quality concerns.
Maintain Oracle Purchasing attributes and procurement records.
Monitor on-time performance of incoming materials to support production schedules.
Track and improve supplier performance as part of a continuous improvement objective.
Purchase materials to meet production and customer requirements as needed.
Make recommendations on economic ordering and inventory management strategies.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Experience in procurement, planning, or other relevant supply chain field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Oracle or other ERP systems.
Ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
