Position Overview:
This position is responsible for ensuring that the company's maintenance, repair, and operations have the appropriate inventory of parts, supplies, and materials to efficiently and quickly fulfill all maintenance requests while maintaining the highest level of quality and profitability.
Key Responsabilities:
• Compliance with the order cycle according to SLA.
• Compliance with the stock room service level according to SLA.
• Improvement of reconciliation of blocked invoices.
• Manages inventory according to the control levels established in the warehouse area.
• Manages supplier relationships by directing interactions and workflows, maximizing the value of the relationship, and establishing a collaborative approach with strategic and key suppliers.
• Obtains and schedules vendor appointments, interviews vendors to determine the best quality, value, and delivery consistency with requirements.
• Obtains price quotes from service providers, MRO & Spare Parts, compares quotations with specifications and item availability, places orders, negotiates prices, and terms and conditions related to purchase order agreements or contracts.
• Organizes, updates, and maintains product and supplier information files for MRO and purchase order records to ensure compliance.
• Analyzes brands and alternatives related to materials, labor costs, and services, considering company requirements for purchasing decisions.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Business Administration, Industrial Engineer or related careers.
• Minimum 2 years working in the full cycle of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) in manufacturing industries.
• Mandatory: Experience in negotiations, supplier sourcing, process improvement, purchase order tracking, and inventory control.
• Mandatory: Advanced computer management skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Mandatory: Intermediate - Advanced English Proficiency.
• Desirable: SAP or other ERP software proficiency
