About the Role

This is a pivotal commercial leadership role within Ingram Micro, responsible for shaping and accelerating the performance of our HPI portfolio across PCs, laptops, printers, and accessories. As the Business Manager, you will define the strategic direction, drive execution excellence, and lead a high‑performing team to deliver sustained revenue and profitability growth.

Success in this role requires a strategic, commercially astute leader with deep knowledge of the hardware and SMB/Enterprise IT landscape. You will build and strengthen vendor partnerships, maximise market opportunities, and ensure our HPI business continues to grow its presence and share across the channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to‑end HPI Business Unit, delivering revenue, profitability, and year‑on‑year growth

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans and promotional programs aligned to HPI priorities
  • Build strong, proactive relationships with HP Inc. vendor teams to unlock new opportunities
  • Coach, mentor, and elevate capability across sales, product, and marketing teams
  • Analyse monthly performance across all HPI categories, identifying gaps and driving corrective action
  • Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, ensuring delivery against brand targets and KPIs
  • Increase HPI visibility and engagement across the sales organisation through training, enablement, and effective sales tools
  • Oversee quarterly marketing plans and support HPI‑led initiatives to strengthen brand presence and demand generation
  • Evaluate product portfolios, identify whitespace opportunities, and drive increased share‑of‑wallet with partners
  • Provide regular performance reporting and ensure compliance with HP Inc. rebate, profitability, and program requirements

Role Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience managing a business, product, or vendor portfolio, ideally within Endpoint solutions

  • Strong understanding of laptops, desktops, printers, and accessories
  • Proven ability to build trusted, influential relationships with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Skilled in leading change, driving strategic initiatives, and influencing outcomes
  • Strong people leadership capability with a track record of developing high‑performing teams
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Commercially minded, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
  • Background in ICT sales, product management, distribution, or vendor management is highly regarded
