Senior Finance Manager- Business Unit

The Senior Finance Manager- Business Unit will play a critical role in driving the financial performance of the Business Unit (BU), partnering with the BU General Manager to provide strategic financial insights. The role is key in developing financial models, conducting analysis, and supporting the BU’s strategic initiatives to ensure growth and profitability. This position requires strong analytical capabilities and the ability to communicate complex financial data effectively. 
 

What you will be responsible for: 

• Collaborating closely with the BU General Manager to support strategic planning and decision-making 

• Providing financial analysis and recommendations to drive growth and profitability 

• Participating in strategic initiatives like product launches, market expansions, and M&A activities 

• Developing and maintaining complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis 

• Analyzing financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement 

• Actively participating in the monthly and quarterly close process, providing variance analysis 

• Identifying and recommending cost-saving initiatives and revenue enhancement opportunities 
   

What you will bring to the role: 

• 7+ years of experience (Senior Manager) in FP&A, preferably within the SaaS industry 

• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, with strong Excel skills 

• Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounting principles 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills 

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities 

• Ability to build relationships across business functions and communicate effectively at all levels 

• A proactive, collaborative, and results-focused approach with a keen attention to detail

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $101,250 and $135,000 USD. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
