Are you passionate about technology, automation, and solving business problems through data and intelligent systems? Join our Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) team and play a key role in advancing how information is captured, analyzed, and leveraged across the organization.

As a Business Technology Analyst, you'll partner with business and technology teams to develop and support innovative document-processing solutions that improve efficiency, enhance data quality, and automate complex workflows. You'll work with modern technologies, including Python, SQL, JSON data structures, and Azure Document Intelligence, helping transform unstructured documents into actionable business information.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a technology expert supporting business applications and intelligent document processing solutions.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, identify opportunities for automation, and recommend technology solutions.

  • Support the development, testing, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of new and existing systems.

  • Work with document ingestion, classification, extraction, and validation processes to improve operational efficiency.

  • Utilize technologies such as Python, SQL, JSON, and Azure Document Intelligence to support document-processing initiatives.

  • Analyze business and technical data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Coordinate project releases and assist with implementation activities to ensure successful adoption.

  • Develop and execute testing plans, track issues, and report results throughout project lifecycles.

  • Collaborate with internal partners, technical teams, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business objectives.

  • Support automation efforts involving financial, invoice, and operational documents while improving data accuracy and usability.

  • Interface with internal and external resources to ensure successful completion, installation, and implementation of solutions in accordance with client needs.

  • Compile, analyze, and interpret detailed information and provide recommendations that support business strategies and objectives.

  • Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to support project releases and ongoing system enhancements.

Work Arrangement

Location: West Side Flats, St. Paul, MN

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Three to five years of direct experience (with project lead experience), or five to eight years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

Technical Skills

  • Python, SQL, and JSON experience.

  • Knowledge of document automation, OCR, Azure Document Intelligence, or similar technologies.

  • Experience with business applications, system enhancements, testing, and implementations.

  • Familiarity with Xceptor or comparable document-processing platforms.

Business Analysis & Project Delivery

  • Ability to gather requirements, facilitate discussions, document findings, and present recommendations.

  • Experience with project management methodologies, testing, and release implementation.

  • Skilled in developing test plans, tracking issues, and communicating results.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Location Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $71,400.00 - $84,000.00
