Job Description

The Position

Organon is seeking a mid-level Technology Business Analyst with Scrum Master expertise to support our digital and technology initiatives across multiple business domains. In this dual-capacity role, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical delivery—working with stakeholders across Commercial, Research & Development (R&D), Manufacturing & Supply, and Corporate Functions such as Finance, HR, and Compliance. You will also facilitate Agile ceremonies and foster continuous delivery across matrixed, global teams.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about improving health outcomes—especially in women’s health, biosimilars, and established medicines—through innovative, scalable, and compliant technology solutions.

Responsibilities

Business Analysis
  • Elicit, document, and validate DAI business requirements from diverse functional areas:
  • Commercial: sales enablement, CRM platforms (e.g., Veeva), digital marketing, and field force effectiveness.
  • R&D: clinical trial operations, safety and pharmacovigilance systems, lab information systems, and data analytics.
  • Manufacturing & Supply: supply chain visibility, manufacturing execution systems (MES), inventory tracking, and serialization.
  • Corporate Functions: finance automation, HRIS platforms, legal and compliance systems, and enterprise reporting.
  • Translate complex business processes into actionable user stories, functional specifications, workflows, and wireframes.
  • Support system design, UAT planning, business process optimization, and solution deployment across global business units.
Scrum Master Responsibilities
  • Serve as Scrum Master for Agile delivery teams, facilitating sprint ceremonies: planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Foster team agility, transparency, and continuous improvement across global and cross-functional project teams.
  • Identify and remove impediments to delivery; escalate risks and dependencies appropriately.
  • Champion Agile best practices and maintain focus on business value and user outcomes.
  • Track team performance using Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Healthcare Informatics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences environment.
  • 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master for Agile software development or digital transformation teams.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed global organization with stakeholders across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Working knowledge of regulated environments (e.g., GxP, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11) and industry standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Agile toolsets such as JIRA, MS Office, and other collaboration tools.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills

Experience supporting technology initiatives in one or more of the following Organon domains:
  • Commercial: sales operations, digital marketing, CRM platforms, commercial analytics
  • R&D: clinical systems, regulatory submissions, lab systems, RIM, pharmacovigilance
  • Manufacturing & Supply: ERP (e.g., SAP), supply chain platforms, MES, LIMS, serialization
