We are seeking a strategic Manager, Business Systems to own the portfolio of applications and platforms that power our internal business operations. This role is responsible for the strategy, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of our core corporate applications, including HR, Finance, ERP, and other enterprise platforms. The Manager, Business Systems will partner closely with department leaders to understand their needs, optimize workflows, and ensure our technology stack effectively supports their goals.
Primary Focus:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Systems Analysts and Application Administrators. Foster a collaborative environment focused on business partnership and value delivery.
- Business Application Portfolio Management: Own the full lifecycle of internal business systems (e.g., HRIS, ERP, Accounting/Finance platforms). This includes managing administration, integration, maintenance, upgrades, and support escalations.
- Process Improvement & Integration: Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement through technology. Manage and maintain integrations between key business systems to ensure data consistency and integrity.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with SaaS and software vendors for our business applications. Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, licensing, and service level management to maximize value.
- Project Management: Lead technology projects related to the selection and implementation of new business systems or the significant enhancement of existing platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT/IS roles, with at least 3+ years in a management position overseeing business applications or enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience managing and delivering complex internal technology projects, including the selection, implementation, or major upgrade of core business systems (e.g., ERP, HRIS, financial platforms).
- Excellent project management skills, with experience leading system implementation or upgrade projects.
