About the Role

The Business Systems Manager is an IT professional who partners with the Business Applications team, fellow NetSuite administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure NetSuite is used effectively and consistently across the enterprise. With a focus on NetSuite as the core ERP, this role supports Finance, Procurement, Revenue, and accounting requirements through system configurations, workflows, and user-friendly solutions.

Working knowledge of the order-to-cash lifecycle and platforms such as NetSuite and Avalara is important, as the role supports processes across Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, expense management, and Revenue Recognition.

 

Responsibilities

System Administration & Configuration

  • Configure and maintain business systems based on user needs and operational requirements.

  • Support business stakeholders by ensuring solutions align with business objectives and processes.

  • Recommend system configuration changes and process improvements to optimize operations.

  • Build expertise in assigned business applications and related processes, including workflows, scripting, and day-to-day system support.

Internal Team Partnership & Communication

  • Work with internal stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners to understand requirements and translate them into system solutions.

  • Serve as a point of contact for business system inquiries, guidance, and support.

  • Provide project updates and status reporting to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Build partnerships across operational, technical, and leadership teams.

Change Execution & Documentation

  • Support business system changes initiatives from planning through implementation.

  • Help maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables for assigned projects.

  • Create and maintain system documentation, process guides, release notes, and knowledge resources.

  • Support change management activities and user adoption of new processes and technologies.

  • Deliver training sessions and materials for end users impacted by system or process changes.

Support & Issue Resolution

  • Provide production support and troubleshooting for assigned business systems.

  • Identify, assess, and resolve system-related issues and operational roadblocks.

  • Escalate and coordinate issue resolution with technical teams, vendors, and leadership as needed.

  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), validation activities, and post-deployment stabilization.

Integrations & System Awareness

  • Build understanding of integrations between assigned business applications and the broader technology ecosystem.

  • Assess the impact of system changes on downstream and upstream applications, processes, and data flows.

  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence and technical teams on reporting and analytics alignment.

  • Support integration planning, testing, and deployment activities.

Access & Governance Support

  • Support user access management and role-based security under guidance from BI Architects, Directors, and other stakeholders.

  • Support governance processes related to user provisioning, permissions, compliance, and system controls.

  • Participate in release management, production support, and testing cycles.

  • Support audit, compliance, and documentation requirements related to system administration and access controls.

Functional Expertise

  • Working knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Financial Close activities.

  • Working knowledge of Quote-to-Cash (QTC) processes, including order management, billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition.

  • Working knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, vendor management, and invoice processing.

  • Understanding SaaS business models, including subscription billing and revenue recognition.

  • Ability to help translate accounting policies and operational requirements into system configurations.

  • Working knowledge of financial controls, segregation of duties (SoD), and SOX requirements.

  • Experience documenting business requirements, current and future-state processes, and gap analysis.

  • Ability to partner with Finance, Procurement, Revenue Operations, and accounting stakeholders on process improvement.

  • Understanding enterprise data flows and cross-functional dependencies across ERP, procurement, expense management, and reporting platforms.

  • Experience supporting UAT, release validation, and change management for financial systems.

Who You Are

  • Working knowledge of Corporate Business Systems (CRM, Marketing Automation, PRM, CMS, ERP tools).

  • Understanding of iPaaS solutions (for example, Jitterbit, Boomi) and integrations with tools like NetSuite, Adaptive, Pigment, Avalara, Workday, Navan, and Zip.

  • Working knowledge of Business Operations practices, such as Quote to Cash and Sales and Marketing Demand Generation.

  • Strong analytical and abstract reasoning skills, with the ability to bridge system constraints and business needs.

  • Effective communicator with technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Foundational project management skills, including managing individual work as part of a Jira Sprint or Release process.

Minimum Qualifications​​

  • 3+ years of experience with Business Systems and Administration

  • Experience or familiarity with different Finance/Accounting platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Avalara, Coupa, Zip, Navan or similar).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation, data analysis, and stakeholder communication.

  • Willingness to continue growing through experience and/or study and certification.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • SaaS / High Tech industry experience preferred

  • Cybersecurity industry experience preferred

  • NetSuite Suite Foundation Certification preferred

The base salary range for this job family is 60,000 to 181,000 CAD annually. This range reflects the base pay the company reasonably expects to offer for this position, aligned to the broader job family base pay structure. Actual base pay may vary based on skills, experience, and location, including job family level. In addition to base pay, Arctic Wolf offers variable incentive compensation, new hire equity grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
