About the Role:
The Business Systems Architect is responsible for the overall design and architecture of Crusoe’s core business systems and their associated business processes, including but not limited to the areas of Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Customer Relationship Management, Sales, and Manufacturing. The Business Systems Architect will bridge the gap between business needs and technology by collaborating with a wide range of stakeholder groups to plan, design, and manage Crusoe’s Business Syst
A Day In The Life:

Create and maintain high-level system architecture blueprints, including data models, application components, integration points, and infrastructure considerations.

Identify opportunities for integration/automation between systems, and own the functional design, testing, and deployment of new integrations/automations.

Evaluate the cost implications of different architectural choices and optimize resource utilization.

Collaborate with development teams to design, develop, and implement systems according to the defined architecture.

Maintain seamless integration between new and existing systems, managing data flows and interfaces.

Engage and communicate with Crusoe stakeholders to continually understand business requirements and proactively identify opportunities for new systems or system upgrades.

Evaluate and recommend appropriate technology stacks, platforms, and tools based on business requirements and market trends.

Monitor overall system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements to maintain scalability and efficiency.

Develop, track, and report on annual Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) as instructed by Business Systems team leadership.
You Will Thrive In This Role If You Have:

BA/BS or 7-year equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
-
5+ years of combined experience as a Business Systems Administrator or equivalent role (Consultant, System Implementer, etc)

Deep understanding of business processes, operations, and strategic goals to align technology solutions with business needs.

Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables

Analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot technical challenges, evaluating trade-offs and finding optimal solutions.

Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to create detailed system architectures, including component diagrams, data flow diagrams, and sequence diagrams.

Ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, proactively follow-up, and drive accountability and results

Ability to work independently as a “self-starter”, with minimal supervision.

Ability to frequently and effectively re-prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to give, receive, and apply feedback from stakeholders and management in a respectful and professional way

Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of $165,000 - $180,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
