The Opportunity:
Visio Lending is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology team and help drive the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of the technology platforms that power our mortgage operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business challenges through technology, collaborating across departments, and improving processes that enhance the customer and employee experience.
As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll work at the intersection of business and technology, partnering with stakeholders across Operations, IT, and Project Management to translate business needs into effective technology solutions. You'll play a key role in impacting the ecosystem that supports DSCR lending, helping automate workflows and streamline processes throughout the mortgage loan lifecycle. Core responsibilities include facilitating client (business users) conversations to collect business requirements, writing business requirement documents (BRD) and test cases, performing minor system configuration, business analysis, data analysis, and UAT support.

What You'll Do
- Facilitate client conversations for requirements gathering, creating and documenting business and/or technical requirements, and test cases to support application development, unit testing, and User Acceptance Testing
- Collaborate with clients, operations, and/or vendors to understand business requirements, with the ability to convert requirements into effective documentation
- Convert requirements into effective workflow design documentation
- Work effectively across multiple cross-functional teams such as operations, application development, product management, and key vendor partnerships
- Support quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT), reporting bugs or defects.
- Work with internal groups and outside vendors to ensure successful and quality project completion.
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needs
- Work Schedule: Monday–Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm CST
- Authorized Remote Locations: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, NC, SC, TX, UT
- Salary Range: $108,000 - $130,000 (Exempt level position)
What We Are Looking For:
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- 5 years of Business Analyst / Requirements Gathering experience
- 3 years of direct mortgage lending related experience
- Experience working on projects related to the mortgage loan lifecycle from Origination through Post-Closing
- Deep knowledge of the mortgage loan process with experience in origination, processing, underwriting, closing/funding, and post-closing. Topics include:
o Product and Pricing Eligibility
o Rule’s Engines
o Workflow and Workflow Design
o Data import/export
o Familiarity with Document Imaging
o Loan Fee’s
o Underwriting Conditions
o Documents / Disclosures
- Experience in the above in a business analyst capacity preferred
- Experience with DSCR (Business Purpose Loans) lending preferred
- Knowledge of SDLC lifecycles, such as Waterfall and Agile
- Ability to use standard office equipment, printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone, personal computer, and other peripheral devices
- Internal Applicants: Must meet the minimum requirements of the position and have no recent disciplinary actions
What We Prefer to Find:
- Experience with Loan Origination System administration
- Knowledge of Secondary Mortgage Market
- Experience with FreshService, Salesforce, and AI Concepts
