Arcosa, Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in our Dallas, TX headquarters. Reporting to the Applications Director – Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering the Business Systems Analyst will support the analysis, design, and delivery of enterprise systems and integrations. This role serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that system solutions align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.

Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional system requirements; translate business needs into clear technical specifications
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and meetings; act as a liaison between business users, IT, vendors, and leadership to ensure alignment and shared understanding
- Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve requirement conflicts, and ensure alignment with business objectives and system capabilities
- Analyze existing systems, integrations, and business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement; recommend technology-enabled solutions
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional/technical specifications, user stories, process flows, and data/interface mappings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout solution design and development; provide ongoing clarification of requirements and ensure adherence to standards
- Define, support, and validate test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and system testing efforts (SIT/UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs
- Assess the impact of system changes on processes, data, and users; support change requests and maintain requirement traceability
- Assist with training materials, user adoption, and rollout planning
- Analyze and define data flows, transformations, and validation rules; support system integrations (APIs, middleware, batch processes)
- Ensure system solutions comply with internal standards, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines; support audits and control validation
- Additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
- Proven experience working on system implementations, enhancements, integrations, support and retirement
- Strong ability to analyze, and document business requirements, functional and non-functional system requirements
- Ability to perform gap analysis and impact assessments
- Experience collaborating closely with developers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Familiarity with traceability from requirements through testing
- Solid understanding of enterprise systems, applications, and integrations
- Experience on manufacturing process like Planning, Scheduling, Inventory, Production Operations, etc.
- Demonstrated Cross Functional Teamwork and Collaboration
- Successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical thinking with strong attention to detail
