The Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Business Systems Analyst, who will serve as the analyst to the OMBO program office team supporting the SNS.
U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Public Trust suitability.
Primary Responsibilities
Participates in meetings with senior officials from HHS, ASPR, and SNS.
Analyzes existing or proposed procedures, systems, strategies, services; Identify needs for improvement or assist in development of methods and resources to accomplish such improvements.
Works with stakeholders to understand business needs, evaluate and documents requirements. Works with IT teams to develop, configure and test systems that meet business requirements.
Conducts data mining, analysis, and modeling from structured and unstructured data using analytics tools (e.g., Excel and Power BI). Extracts insights to develop findings, inferences, conclusions and recommendations. Translates the results of analysis into clear, actionable communications that equip decision makers to make informed, data-driven decisions based on data analytics.
Creates, develops, and publishes sustainable reports and dashboards that update with current data on a reoccurring basis.
Develops and maintains working relationships with appropriate organizations to meet the needs of the program’s mission.
Researches, collects, compiles, and reviews qualitative and quantitative information and data for use in program decisions.
Assists with the preparation of system recommendations to senior officials.
Maintains continuous readiness posture by remaining flexible to respond 24 hours a day, year-round. Support emergency management/incident response functions as needed to accomplish the program’s mission.
Performs other related duties.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into technical, low-code solutions. (i.e. Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Required to be on-call 24 hours/7 days a week. Must be able to respond to mission alerts within 15 minutes with a recall of 90 minutes to report to designated location. Must carry a cell phone at all times.
Ability to work handle requests from multiple groups/organizations.
Able to identify errors, problems, or non-standard situations and suggest alternatives.
Proficient in common software, particularly with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must possess character traits of being accurate, meticulous, proactive, efficient, self-starter, a team player.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience supporting a government agency.
Technically savvy.
