Business Systems Analyst

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking an Business Systems Analyst to work for our company.

Summary: 

• Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency.
• Act as an expert in specific business processes, responsible for formulating systems scope and objectives relative to the organization’s business plan and industry requirements within the Oracle EBS 12.x framework.
• Serve as a member of project teams, providing technical guidance concerning the business implications of the application of various systems.
• Conduct comprehensive fit-gap analyses to evaluate how well proposed solutions meet business needs within the current EBS R12.x framework and during the planning stages of potential cloud migration.
• Translate complex business needs into clear, unambiguous, and detailed functional specifications (e.g., using Oracle AIM methodology documents like MD050), technical specifications, workflow diagrams, process maps, and use cases suitable for development, configuration, and testing teams.
• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other IT professionals.

Requirements: 

• Must have an ACTIVE Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other equivalent/recognized Project Management certification.
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
• Must have 4+ years of relevant experience as a Business System Analyst or in a similar role focused on ERP systems.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree.
• Oracle Expertise: Demonstrated deep expertise and hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) version 12.x.
• Process/Tool Familiarity: Must have experience working with or knowledge of:
  • Product Support Management (PSM)
  • Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF)
  • ARIS system engineering tool
  • SAP products for ERP

• Software Proficiency: Must have demonstrable experience with the following programs:
  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Project Management software

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
