JOB PURPOSE:
This position will be responsible for collecting and interpreting data in a manufacturing environment to help the company meet its goals related to Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Working closely with various members of management and the team to increase knowledge and awareness and improve performance.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2-4 Years
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create data visualizations and reports to present findings
- Continuously monitor and improve data quality and accuracy
- Collect, correlate, and organize large datasets from various sources
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data and present them in a structured manner
- Build dashboards and reports using data visualization tools
- Support management reporting and daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly KPI reviews and other designated activities
This role will report directly to the plant manager and indirectly to the rest of the senior management team in the assigned facility.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using and working with Power BI
- Knowledge of SAP systems and analysis
- Strong written, verbal, and cross-cultural communication skills
- Comfortable working on multiple projects at one time with tight deadlines
- Gathering, interpreting, and analyzing data
- Formulating and submitting reports to relevant personnel including management
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies such as PDCA, A3, 8D, Six Sigma, etc. is a plus
