We are supporting the implementation of Momentum, a Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) financial system. Our team continues to design and deliver innovative, complex solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Responsibilities:
The Business System Analyst on the Tier 2 support team plays a critical role as the primary point of contact for handling escalated issues from Tier 1 related to Momentum Financials and its related interfaces and reports. This includes providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting complex system errors, configuration challenges, and user access permissions that cannot be resolved by Tier 1 support. The analyst is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of escalated tickets, from initial diagnosis through to resolution, ensuring all actions and solutions are clearly documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders. In addition to incident resolution, the analyst conducts thorough root cause analysis for recurring or complex problems and works collaboratively with technical and functional teams to recommend and implement long-term fixes.
Qualifications:
Required:
U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance (Must be SCI eligible)
Bachelor's degree in related field and 3-5 years of related experience
Experience with Momentum Financials, including configuration and troubleshooting
Expert proficiency in documenting technical issues and resolutions in a clear, concise manner
Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
Expert understanding of IT support processes, ticket management, and incident escalation workflows
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities efficiently
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and develop long-term solutions
Willingness to work onsite full time in a secure facility in Rosslyn, VA
Desired:
Experience with Jira or other ticket tracking support tool
Ability to write and execute SQL queries
Experience with DoD Financials
Familiarity with configuration of Momentum subsystems

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
