The Role:
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be a key player in managing, enhancing, and evolving our Salesforce ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for configuring and maintaining the platform, championing best practices, and continuously adopting the latest features and innovations from Salesforce. Your work will directly support operational excellence, optimize business workflows, and empower our teams to fully leverage Salesforce as a strategic driver of growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Salesforce Environment: Configure, customize, and administer Salesforce, including user roles, profiles, permissions, and system integrations to support evolving business needs.
- Automation & Process Optimization: Design, implement, and refine automation solutions to streamline and scale internal operations.
- Data Integrity & Governance: Maintain data cleanliness and accuracy by managing integrations, perform data loads, duplication and matching rules, validation rules, dynamic forms, and Flows.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices for user access, data protection, and system configurations in line with industry standards and protocols.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, effective technical solutions.
- Troubleshooting & Root Cause Resolution: Investigate and resolve system issues through analytical problem-solving, implement corrective actions, and design long-term preventive solutions.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive internal documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting to support team efficiency and continuity.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with deep hands-on expertise across core modules such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Digital Experience.
- Background in a fast-paced startup or SaaS/cybersecurity environment is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, security model, and data management principles.
- Proficiency in Agile or similar project management methodologies.
- Solid grasp of release management and change control processes to ensure smooth deployment of updates and features.
- Proven ability to engage and align with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Engineering.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Salesforce development tools and frameworks, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components.
- Awareness of compliance standards such as GDPR, CCPA, or SOC 2.
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, etc.) are a significant plus.

Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $155,000
In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity in the Company.
