We are adding a Business Systems Analyst / Product Owner to serve as a liaison between technical and business teams for our customers and act as the go-to problem solver. This person will work closely with key stakeholders to translate requirements for development teams to ensure exceptional performance for their business. You will be a part of an established technical community, giving you the opportunity to constantly grow as a key project team member. SDG is looking for a detailed and team-oriented mindset, that has at least 5 years of experience serving as a Business Systems Analyst, has worked on data mapping, using SQL, and being part of a successful agile team. An ideal Business Systems Analyst / Product Owner at SDG is a lifelong learner who is motivated to continually improve their craft and thrives amongst their fellow employee-owners.
SDG’s BSA's/PO's have proven experience with the following responsibilities. If you do too, we want to hear from you:
- Delivering custom, enterprise web development products
- A variety of IT projects and industries
- Agile, Scrum, Iterative and Waterfall methodologies
- Define and document business requirements, technical requirements, and user stories
- Backlog refinement and prioritization
- Works with SQL Queries, Data Translation and Mapping, Visual Modeling, and Excel Commands
- Communication with development staff
- Projects with multiple stakeholders
- Working with global or distributed teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional Business Systems Analyst and/or Product Owner experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in Agile, Scrum, and/or iterative methodologies
- Experience as a Scrum Master is preferred
- Experience with QA is preferred
- Experience using SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data mapping
- Experience delivering solutions in large scale enterprise environments
- Familiarity with the SDLC
- Prior consulting or professional services experience is a bonus
- Education degree, certification, or equivalent related work experience

Fair and equitable compensation is important to us. The salary range for this opportunity is $95,000 - $135,000. The offer may fall outside this range given factors such as skills and experience. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
