Key Responsibilities

Business & Systems Analysis

  • Elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements
  • Perform gap analysis and issue analysis to identify business needs and improvement opportunities
  • Translate and simplify business requirements into clear technical specifications
  • Design, document, and maintain business and system processes
  • Identify and design business and/or system improvement opportunities
  • Assist in the development of business cases for strategic initiatives

Project & Delivery Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor project deliverables
  • Manage small to mid-sized projects and/or project tasks
  • Apply knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project lifecycle principles
  • Ensure technology solutions meet company standards and user requirements

Collaboration & Communication

  • Serve as liaison between business units and technical teams
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical resources
  • Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide guidance and feedback to less experienced staff
  • Work collaboratively across departments to support enterprise initiatives

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of business analyst experience
  • Proven experience supporting broad-impact, cross-functional systems
  • Advanced skills in requirements elicitation for business processes and system functionality
  • Advanced general analysis and gap analysis skills
  • Experience generating multiple types of business and/or process documentation
  • Experience identifying and designing business/system improvements
  • Ability to coordinate and manage small-sized projects and tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Business Analyst certification (CBAP, CCBA, PBA) preferred
