The National Security Sector within Leidos is seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst to support the Catena program. This role will be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of customer challenges, requirements gathering and refinement, and process reengineering.
In this hands-on position, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify emerging needs, ascertain and document commonalties and differences across tenants, and ensure solutions meet stakeholder requirements. This position involves active participation across the software development life cycle, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and ongoing support to ensure requirements are delivered upon.
This role is 100% remote but proximity to the Washington Metro Area is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Capture, document, and refine tenant requirements
- Ascertain end-to-end system and intersystem requirements and processes
- Create, track, and store requirements artifacts and stakeholder approvals
- Document and track delta between current and future state
- Work with Tester(s) to ensure traceability from requirement to delivered feature
- Develop mockups and models to ensure clear communication between stakeholders and development
- Develop and maintain data dictionary to ensure consistent use of terms
- Identify process reengineering opportunities
- Support new customer engagement meetings and demonstrations
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of related experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years in related experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- US Citizenship; Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
- Experience analyzing and reengineering cross organizational processes for midsized organizations
- Proficiency in a UI mockup tool such as Balsamiq or Figma
- Proficiency in a workflow capturing tool such as Visio or Draw.IO
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to communicate across multiple levels from customer stakeholders to developers
- Ability to organize, categorize, and store requirements artifacts for future use
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to logistics or shipping processes
- Ability to deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders
