The Role:
- Translate business needs into effective application and technology solutions. You will partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather and document requirements, evaluate solution options, support application design, execute system testing, and help implement business applications. You will also provide application support, investigate issues, and recommend improvements that strengthen the user experience and business results.
What You Will Do:
- Analyze business needs and translate stakeholder input into clear functional and nonfunctional requirements for application-system projects.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain requirements documentation, process flows, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability records.
- Partner with business stakeholders, application teams, developers, architects, and support professionals to evaluate solution alternatives and clarify expected outcomes.
- Contribute to the design, testing, documentation, and implementation of business applications across multiple projects.
- Develop and execute test scenarios and test cases, analyze results, document defects, and confirm that solutions meet approved functional requirements.
- Investigate application issues with business and technology partners, identify root causes, evaluate resolution options, and recommend application or process enhancements.
- Support application integrations, interfaces, data flows, migrations, and related technology initiatives within the assigned area.
- Provide timely application support and practical guidance to end users.
- Create or refine process maps, basic architecture diagrams, component interactions, data flows, prototypes, and supporting documentation.
- Help users and stakeholders adopt Salesforce and other business applications through clear documentation, knowledge sharing, and responsive support.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience eliciting, analysing, documenting, and validating business, functional, or system requirements.
- Experience with another customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning, Software as a Service, workflow, or cloud-based enterprise platform.
- Experience creating user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, business-process maps, data-flow diagrams, or requirements-traceability documentation.
- Experience supporting user-acceptance testing, regression testing, integration testing, release validation, or defect triage.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, iterative delivery, or software development life-cycle practices.
- Experience working across business and technology teams in financial services, lending, insurance, customer service, sales operations, or another regulated or transaction-oriented environment.
- Experience helping users adopt a new application through documentation, demonstrations, training, or post-implementation support.
- Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst, or related certification. Certification is beneficial but not required.
- Salesforce Loyalty Management Platform experience is beneficial but not required.

Summary Pay Range:
$94,728.00 - $151,572.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
