Position Summary:
This position will demonstrate application, development, and evolution of business processes and continuous improvement initiatives for ADUSA Procurement. Will work collaboratively with cross-functional business partners and Subject Matter Experts to drive process consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness through elimination of waste. Partners with Continuous Improvement Training team to ensure new processes and/or process changes are communicated to impacted audiences accordingly. Will leverage tools and capabilities to drive continuous improvement initiatives, conduct root cause analysis to unlock value, and provide data-driven recommendations to inform leadership. This role is responsible for telling stories backed by analysis to simplify and present relevant information to aid business partners in making informed, data-driven decisions.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed analyses to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities across the end-to-end supply chain and develop clear, robust business cases for those opportunities.
  • Intake information that accurately models business processes' effectiveness and efficiency, focused on process quality, time, and costs.
  • Leverages project management skills to assist with testing and deployment of process changes, while considering the timeline of overall organizational initiatives and priorities.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 - 5 years relevant experience
  • Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain networks and systems/tools (Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Forecasting and Replenishment systems)
  • Lean Six Sigma or other Continuous Improvement Certification preferred
  • Highly motivated, independent performer
  • Ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple requests
  • Ability to perform in a complex and changing environment
  • Curiosity- based drive to discover root causes


Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven problem solving/trouble shooting
  • In partnership with other Procurement Services departments, develop reporting that highlights where process improvement initiatives are performing relative to targets and suggest opportunities for improvement based on analysis.
  • Performance Monitoring: Incorporate observations of key supply chain KPIs and targeted process outcomes to identify potential focus areas for the overall supply chain continuous improvement agenda and savings targets.
  • Aid in the identification and development of best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline business processes.
  • Utilizes disciplines of DMAIC, DMADV, or Lean Six Sigma methodologies to support a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
