The Role:
- Play a critical role in our global Salesforce transformation. This individual will act as the primary Business Analyst for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, leading the integration and migration of multiple legacy systems into a unified Salesforce platform.
- Partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to define, optimize, and implement end‑to‑end business processes that support a diverse portfolio of insurance products across multiple regions. You will translate complex business needs, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and regulatory alignment as we modernize our global operating model.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end requirements activities including discovery, process mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and working sessions to drive alignment and decision-making
- Analyze current-state processes and design future-state solutions leveraging Salesforce capabilities (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud, and Financial Service Cloud)
- Understand Agile and participate in Sprint ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives) and support Agile delivery teams
- Assist with UAT planning and execution, including test case creation, defect triage, and business sign-off
- Support release planning, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, automation tools (Flows, validation rules, approvals), and reporting
- Proven ability to write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria using Agile methodologies
- Provide consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results.
- Analyze, define and document client's requirements, and revise existing systems logic challenges, as necessary.
- Monitor client experiences and feedback on the use of business applications; enhance system productivity, as needed.
- Participate in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems that are cost effective and meet business requirements.

- Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
- Technology Advising: Knowledge of effective advisory methods and ability to provide valued information and advice to clients regarding products, technologies, services and solutions for a specific technology domain.
- Application Design, Architecture: Knowledge of application design and architecture principles and practices; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools, and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.
- Implementation: Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: accounting or graphic design).
- System and Technology Integration: Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases and technology platforms.
- System Testing: Knowledge of system and software testing; ability to design, plan and execute system testing strategies and tactics to ensure the quality of software at all stages of the system life cycle.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application, or operation.
Top Candidates Will Bring:
Salesforce Integration Experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading Salesforce integrations, ideally within Financial Services Cloud, including migration from legacy systems.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions in partnership with technical teams.
Agile Mindset & Delivery
- Strong experience working in Agile delivery environments, balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
- Comfortable defining and refining requirements, user stories, and process improvements to support iterative delivery.
Data & Analytical Capability
- Highly analytical, with experience mapping and validating data as it moves between systems.
- Able to translate complex data into clear insights that support business and operational decision‑making.
Senior Stakeholder Engagement
- Confident engaging with senior and executive stakeholders, acting as a bridge between business and technology.
- Skilled at turning insights and analysis into clear actions and recommendations.
Global Collaboration
- Proven ability to work across global, cross‑functional teams and multiple time zones.
- Experience supporting multiple products or markets while maintaining alignment and consistency.
Compensation & Benefits:
Summary Pay Range:
$118,860.00 - $190,176.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.

- This position requires the successful candidate to work full time, 5 days per week in the Nashville main office.
