Overview:
The Business Planning and Analysis Summer Intern will help support the company’s forecasting and budgeting process. This candidate will demonstrate skills in financial planning, analysis, and reporting while participating in a range of analytical and data analysis activities which will help lead to increased efficiencies and revenue opportunities, as well as lower operational expense levels.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monthly forecasting of financial statements
- Generate monthly and quarterly reporting
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for business leaders
- Create ad hoc reports to support business operations
- Maintain open lines of communication
- Support the business units
- Prepare analysis of industry data and trends
Qualifications and Required Skills:
- Interest in Property and Casualty Insurance Industry
- Current Sophomore or Junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics or other related degree
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
- High level of intellectual curiosity
- Effective communicator (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail
- Desire to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher
- Commutable to our West Trenton, New Jersey Office
The Business Planning and Analysis intern can pay up to $22 hour.
