Job Description
Business Owner IT (BO IT) is a key business and technical leader responsible for managing governance, compliance, and return on investment (ROI) for a Solution developed by one or more Agile Release Trains (ART). The ultimate goal of BO IT is to align business needs with the IT development and operation processes of large-scale IT solutions.
The BO IT has the E2E responsibility for the complete life cycle of the product. Playing a key role in helping the ART deliver value. Responsible for mission setting, planning, draft plan reviews, conducting management reviews, and problem-solving. Assigning business value to Program Increment Objectives and approving the Program Increment plan. Active and continuous involvement throughout each Program Increment by BO IT can be a determining factor in the success of each train.
What will you do
- You will be the IT Owner and leader who guides the ART(s) to the appropriate outcomes.
- Provide input to backlog refinement activities in order to align the business and IT needs.
- Understand and help specify that business objectives are comprehended and agreed to by key stakeholders.
- Prepare the communication of the business context, including Milestones and significant external dependencies.
- Support key activities, including the presentation of vision, draft plan review, assigning business value to Program Increment (PI) objectives, and approving final plans

Qualifications
- More than 5 years of management experience in IT environments and in leading large teams (>100 FTE)
- More than 2 years of experience in cloud / IT Solutions/ business transformation (Google, AWS)
- More than 3 years of experience in agile environments
- Transformation of large delivery units
- Management skills (budgets, KPIs, skills, etc.)
- Communication, negotiation & presentation skills at Senior VP-level
- General IT Overview – Advanced
- Software Development - Intermediate
- Accounting – Basic
- Speak English and German at least at the C1 level
