Job Description:

In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024, with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

The Business Operation Manager role is an integral part of our Workplace Operation team, reporting to the Global Director of Corporate Services & Real estate. The role works across functions and organization driving synergy and process efficiency. The position functions as the integrator to facilitate the development and implementation of strategic plans through creating processes and frameworks. We are looking for an individual with strong business, finance and analytics acumen to join our team.

The successful incumbent will provide the following but not limited to:

  • Facilitate the rhythm of business and strategic planning process, development and tracking of OKRs, KPIs, and metrics.
  • Create dashboards and presentation to inform decision making.
  • Work cross-functionally with all stakeholders and business partners to create programs and operational strategies that align with business goals.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly business review reports and presentations.
  • Compile a variety of complex operating, financial, and statistical information reports.
  • Facilitates the planning and management of workplace initiatives and programs for multiple teams with the goal of driving alignment.
  • Oversee the development of project plans, timelines and costs.
  • Create cohesive, scalable processes, frameworks, and playbooks for Global Workplace Operations Team that support goals and drive employee engagement.
  • Identifies opportunities to decrease costs and drive productivity by improving operational effectiveness in partnership with operations and finance.
  • Contributes to development and implementation of consistently compliant and efficient business operations management policies and practices.
  • Leverages internal and external research to solve problems ranging in complexity, relating to the operation of the business, if required.

This position is not eligible for Intel sponsorship.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, political science, marketing or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in business operations management
  • 7+ years of experience in collaboration tools (i.e. Microsoft Suite, power BI, Smartsheet, asana, etc.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) business administration, or related field
  • Experience in real estate and facilities management preferred.
