Build your career and Australia’s future.

Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.

A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for an Operations and Engagement Specialist to Executive Manager Engagement and Business Management.

A bit about your role

As the Operations & Engagement Specialist, you will lead the delivery of internal engagement activities that strengthen connection, alignment, and awareness across Field Services. This includes planning and delivering a range of initiatives — from town halls and leadership forums to team events and communications — ensuring they are well executed and aligned to business priorities.

Working closely with the Senior Engagement Specialist and leadership team, you will also support broader engagement programs, culture initiatives, and recognition activities, partnering with leaders to drive participation and meaningful outcomes across the business.

Alongside this, you will provide high-quality executive and operational support to the Executive General Manager, playing a key role in enabling leadership effectiveness and business performance. You will manage complex schedules, coordinate leadership forums, and prepare clear, accurate, and executive-ready materials including briefings, reports, and insights that support decision-making and alignment.

You will also help maintain the operational rhythm of the business — supporting governance forums, tracking actions, coordinating inputs from across teams, and ensuring reporting is delivered consistently and to a high standard. Your ability to bring structure, prioritisation, and follow-through will be critical in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

A bit about you

You are a highly organised and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of delivery.

You’re comfortable working closely with senior leaders, bringing sound judgement, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs. You can take inputs from multiple stakeholders and turn them into clear, concise, executive-ready outputs, including leadership presentations, communications, reporting and briefings.

You build strong, trusted relationships and know how to keep things moving by following up on actions, coordinating inputs, and meeting deadlines. You’re detail-oriented, reliable, and take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.

You also bring a continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to streamline processes, strengthen reporting, and improve consistency.
